S.T.E.M.S

STEMS is a dedicated organization, working on community teaching and learning of STEM topics and fields within the Deaf Community. They work to motivate kids and individuals into experiencing more of the sciences of the world, and provide opportunities that may not already exist.

Together, we discussed the future of Austin and its community at large. Though topics of infrastructure and city planning often sit at the top of all meetings, we must also consider what the community needs directly. Austin's City hall must maintain relationships built over the years, as well as build new ones with communities that feel or are left out of the conversation.

STEMS works hard to help and represent its community and meeting with them was an honor. With their help, and other like-minded individuals, we help prepare Austin for the future!
